Welcome to Stonepocket. I am Tim Heelan, the founder of Stonepocket in 2002. Being outdoors is central to very aspect of my life from building outdoor spaces to kayaking and hiking to camping out with my family. Nature is where I receive inspiration. Here I am hiking the Superior Hiking Trail in the early spring.
Stonepocket’s very name originates from my days studying at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. West of Madison is a section land preserved by the Nature Conversatory in the Baraboo Hills called Parfies Glen. One way to enter this preserve is to take a farm road called Stonepocket. The road leads to a brook filled with moss coverage rocks and Marsh Marigolds and trails lined Trillium, Fawn Lilies, and Bloodroot in the spring. When ever time allows on my many family trips to Madison I still stop by to visit the origins of Stonepocket.
Look forward to use my talents and experience to help your landscape reach its full potential.
