Tim designed and installed a complete landscape plan for the front yard of our custom designed home. We went with Stonepocket after talking to several designers. We were very impressed with Tim’s unique design sense and liked him as a person. He listened to what we wanted and came up with a great design that fit within our budget. The project was well organized and there was good communication throughout. The guys on Tim’s installation team did a great job and were very respectful of our property. We are very pleased with the end result, which includes custom stonework as well as plantings. Tim also stays in touch after the project is complete, with yearly followups. We have worked with Stonepocket for landscape design and installation for 4 years. The creative ideas, plans, consideration of our lifestyle and the specific aspects of our yard and environment was detailed and spot on for what could work well. Plant selection included many unique specimens from foliage to native selections. Many extraordinary elements were included in our landscape that brought art, year round color, texture and functional elements for drainage, shade and sun exposure. Tim was very pleasant to work with, as were the contractors who came out to do the work. He worked within my budget, made great suggestions, was willing to re-work based on my feedback, he created a unique design for my neighborhood. Neighbors stop when I am out and comment on how nice the landscaping has turned out. The work was done on schedule. Each day the work crew came out I came home to a raked lawn, clean sidewalks, essentially no mess from their day of work, which I really appreciated. I look forward to next summer and the ability to see the contrasting leaves and colors and sizes of the plants throughout the next growing season. I also look forward to the relatively low maintenance selection of plantings.

We wanted a landscaper who was not only willing to take the time to do good work but who would also be willing to take the time to educate his customer. Tim did just that, from beginning to end. We gave him ideas of what we were looking for and let him take it from there. We worked together on identifying plants that we did and did not want to see in our garden and he helped us understand how to care for them during all four seasons.
