Tim with Stonepocket was amazing. My landscaping in the front of my house got out of control. It hadn’t been maintained properly for a while. Trees and bushes were overgrown and my front walkway needed repaired. Everytime I drove up to my house I just felt embarrassed and frustrated. I spoke with several landscapers and picked Stonepocket because I felt Tim just knew his stuff and knew what plants, trees etc would work best for my home and me. We cannot recommend Stonepocket highly enough. Tim created a detailed design to transform a neglected garden along our lengthy driveway into a peaceful entry to our home and yard. He was sensitive to our desire for a low-maintenance solution that would incorporate native plants and attract pollinators. His team's work is thorough and impressive. For an overgrown hillside blackberry patch, Tim worked with a metal artist to provide an attractive support system for the vines. And Tim's team laid beautiful stone stairs and a path around the patch to access the berries easily. Despite having the good fortune to attain this level of experience and recognition, I believe one can always learn from others and continue to expand one’s creative abilities and vision. For me, creativity has always been hands-on and rooted in classical artistic traditions: I began drawing landscapes with pencil and vellum, and still do sketches this way. Later, I moved into a CAD-based design software, which enables me to walk clients through a realistic 3D rendering of their landscape. The process we go through in brainstorming and envisioning a client’s dream landscape requires careful listening and observation––and we apply this same thoughtful approach throughout the design process.
